SYTYCD and Glee makes a good one-two punch for FOX. Great scheduling on their part. I also love the decision of moving Fringe to Thursdays with CSI and Grey’s. It’s ballsy, bu I like it!

The Wanda Sykes Show? Really? GAG!
what a craptastic lead in for Dollhouse. Are the Fox execs TRYING to kill the show?!?
SYTYCD & Glee make a GREAT combo. Can’t wait for Bones. Why is Til Death still on????
Yes, we all get to spend another year of donning the ol’ wife-beater, cracking open a nice, cold can of PBR, and spending Saturday nights with John Walsh and the bad boys. Just thinking about it makes me want to commit some drunk and disorderly conduct.
So , I just looked at my calendar for September and quick question… Is FOX changing the results format for SYTYCD? Are the premiere dates just that and not normal programming times? Otherwise, I don’t see how you can have a results show the following Thursday if you have 2 hour long programs a couple of weeks after the premiere of SYTYCD. I also need to say that I was enjoying programs that I want to watch on Tuesdays, but thank you FOX and CBS for taking that impressive line-up and and blowing it to bits!
Syn, I think “Fringe” might have become popular enough to put it on at 10 pm, which means the results show for “So You Think You Can Dance” could be on at 8 pm. That would be my guess.
Wojo – I thought Fox only has two hours of Prime time programming with local news on at 10pm?
Syn – also, the premier will be auditions. Results won’t be an issue.
Go Fox! Some great shows on the line up for the fall: SYTYCD, Glee, Dollhouse, Lie to Me, and Fringe are GREAT shows!!!
Britt, you’re right. I started downing the Pabst a little too early. On Wikipedia, it looks like “So You Think You Can Dance” will be on Tuesdays, and the results show will be on Wednesdays. “Fringe” will be on at 9 pm and not 10 pm, like I had erroneously guessed.
One less week to wait for “Glee”! Love it.
Fringe is all that matters.
I don’t know if FOX is out to kill Dollhouse or if it is just their usual programming stupidity. A test pattern would be a better lead in for Dollhouse than Til’ Death and would get far more viewers. I read that FOX bought another season of Til’Death because it was dirt cheap to buy. Obviously they bought it without considering how much they are damaging both their other shows and their reputation as a network by airing such tripe. Dollhouse deserves a decent lead-in, preferably a show drawing a similar demographic, not a tired old sitcom nobody watches.
