Production on new The CW series Beautiful Life, starring Mischa Barton, has been postponed one week to July 31, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sources tell THR that Barton’s hospitalization last week has nothing to do with the delay. Beautiful Life, in which the actress plays one of several models living together in N.Y.C., is set to premiere this Sept. 16.

Production was postponed because some of the sets weren’t prepared correctly. This doesn’t at all effect the premiere date.
No, she has been hospitalized for unspecified psychiatric issues.
If the sets were not ready then the production team building them would be in big trouble – setting back production one week is very expensive and inconvenient for the people ready to get to work this week. Looks like a flimsy excuse for me and an insult to the men and woman who create the sets.
Recast her. she’s a mess and the network shouldn’t pay for it. I have no doubt they can do it without her.
