TBS has made plans to pick up a TV version of Ice Cube's movie Are We There Yet?, which will likely premiere in June 2010 with 10 episodes, according to Variety. The deal resembles the one struck with Tyler Perry, whose comedies House of Payne and Meet the Browns (which was originally a theatrical release, as well) also got orders for 10 episodes with an option for a whopping 90 more installments.
Cube, who starred in the film version of Are We There Yet? and its sequel Are We Done Yet? (which grossed a combined $132.4 million domestically), will likely appear occasionally in the series but will not play the same role, although he is set to produce through his Cube Vision production house. Terry Crews of Everybody Hates Chris fame will take on Cube's role of Nick, the single guy who starts dating a young divorcee with two kids and agrees to take them on a road trip to visit their mother.

Terry Crews is a really funny guy. Unfortunately, this sounds kinda lame. At least he’s got a regular gig, and best-case scenario he elevates this thing.
I think TBS really needs to stop with these 90 epsiode deals!!! If TBS would do that again give 90 epsiodes of Bill Engvall
