The Chipotle Mexican fast food chain is backing free screenings of documentary Food Inc. in 32 cities, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Beginning today, the restaurant will offer screenings as well as promotional material in its 860 locations. The documentary examines unhealthy practices throughout the food industry and the influence of agriculture conglomerates on government policy. The promotion allows Chipotle to emphasize its own eco-friendly approach to fast food.

Thanks a lot for posting this info on the free Food, Inc. screenings. I first read about this special Chipotle promo on http://www.greenwala.com (an online green social network), but I now I can’t find the original article there anymore, so your timing couldn’t be better.
I’m really impressed that Chipotle is going to such great expense to promote this harsh profile of our food production industry — they must be very confident that they’re walking the green line and serving up wholesome eats.
