joe jackson is a great father, who was a little over the edge in his approach to raise his kids. even so he did a great job. micheal and his brothers were the result.

the shaking of michaels hands is normal! he does that ALL THE TIME live. watch any live performance of an upbeat song and you’ll see him stand there and shake his hands out like that. its more of a release of “musical tension” lol. it builds up in his body, and when he cant do another dance move out of either exhaustion or time, he shakes his hands like that. its completely normal for him.

I’d like to see more of the final taping of his rehearsals. I have been wondering if the shake of his hands towards the end is from numbness or discomfort of some kind. It would be interesting to see how much he does it like that in other-uncut pieces.

Please is there anybody out there who believes that JJ did not have to abuse Michael for him to become the talented man that he was. I guess we did need JJ to HELP Michael become the man that he is. A DEAD MAN.
I wouldn’t say it was all JJ’s fault. Nope. It’s the nature of the beast. Fame and fortune, and maybe too much of it.

As much as everyone of you here hate Joe Jackson, I acknowledge he may have done some big mistakes, but I think Penny is right, if it wasn’t for Joe Jackson we wouldn’t have known the great Michael Jackson.

Preston, I think Michael was driven beyond sanity. His father instilled this in him as a child. He had to be perfect…but he could never be quite perfect enough. Not for his father, and through his life he couldn’t be perfect enough for himself. He needed to drive himself. He drove himself….into his grave.

I think that Michael wanted to do these shows, because U2 sold out their recent tour shows. Because Taylor Swift’s spring/summer tour was sold out. Because Britney Spears sold out with her tour and he wanted to outlast all the competition. Because Beyonce’s current tour has been huge and successful. Because bands like Nickelback have had sold out tours right now. He wanted to prove that he was ready to tear up some stages agaain. And London welcomed him with open arms by snatching all those tickets. But 50 shows was too much. Maybe 10 would have been better. He was trying to give the young guns and stars of today a run for their money. That’s really what it was. He was known to outdo himself with every tour he did and every album that he released. He wanted to prove that he could tear up stages at 50 with the energy of current stars half his age.
