Michael Jackson's sister LaToya told UK tabloid News of the World that she believes Jackson was murdered. "And we don't think just one person was involved. Rather, it was a conspiracy of people. I feel it was all about money. Michael was worth well over a billion in music publishing assets and somebody killed him for that. He was worth more dead than alive," she said. She told the paper that her brother was "being inappropriately treated by people who got him hooked on drugs," and that millions of dollars in cash and jewels are missing from Jackson's home.

OMGosh. This is so bizarre. I really don’t know what to say but that this story is reminiscent of Michael’s life. BIZARRE, CRAZY, MAD…..Supposedly she told this to a UK tabloid. It’s a TABLOID. I don’t know if I should give this article the time of day. I thinks it a hoax. It’s just too bizarre.

Like most of the Jacksons, LaToya is mentally ill. This stupid “conspiracy” charge is par for the course. Michael was a huge drug addict and he died as a result of it. It’s so silly to allege murder. He died from a cardiac arrest in front of one of his kids. How is that murder?
He wouldn’t lose the catalog just because he died so that doesn’t really make sense. The way his medication was prescribed and the process of care that when on in his time of need-(before and after June 25th)is questionable though. This is making me sick.

Yes he had millions in debt, but just because someone is very in debt, does not mean he has assets. His net worth is in the 100’s of milions if not the billion dollar range, but his assets are not liquid assets. For example, his 50% share in Sony. If he were to sell that to cover the debts, then the residual cash flow of being a 50% owner goes away. Same with the rights to songbooks. Performing the concerts would have provided him the cashflow needed to get out of debt and then some without impairing or selling off assets which would deplete future earnings.
If MJ was burned and began his pain pill addiction and went into rehab in the 80’s. Then, his FAMILY have had a finger on the pulse of MJ addiction’s for almost 3 decades. We are not talking Anna Nicole Smith’s poor, country people background. This WHOLE family are very business and law savvy. They have a lawyer as the family spokesperson. HELLO!!
