Farrah Fawcett’s longtime friend, Alana Stewart, will publish a diary she kept during the late actress’ three-year battle with anal cancer, Harper Collins imprint William Morrow announced today in a press release. Fawcett, known best for her role on Charlie’s Angels, died June 25 at age 62. A portion of the proceeds from sales of My Journey with Farrah: A Story of Life, Love, and Friendship will go to The Farrah Fawcett foundation to benefit cancer research. “Farrah had originally encouraged me to write this book. It was her idea,” said Stewart in the publisher’s statement. “My hope is that people will find this book to be a heartfelt tribute to my friend of thirty years and her valiant fight against cancer.” My Journey With Farrah hits bookstores Aug. 11.

Why not sell “Farrah’s Story” on DVD and have all the proceeds go to the Farrah Fawcett Foundation?
first make it

SPAMMERS SUCK DONKEY DICK.
Thank you Ms. Stewart for telling a very difficult story for your friend. Just the filming was a tremendous undertaking for you and your love for your friend was so evident. Farrah was such a multi talented and misjudged woman. Her documentary that she insisted upon was such a gift to the world. Thank you for continuing this gift to other cancer victims, families and friends.
THIS ANGERS ME TO NO END.
She WAS NOT a friend. Watch the show that was done. How did they find out Farrah was going to the hospital in Germany? (they said someone told them… guess who..?)
Then when Farrah was being video recorded and asked her to drop the camera – she said no and continued to film. Then when Farrah was dying.. why did they NEVER turn the cameras off and tend to her?
Why didn’t they fight to have her son with her when she died? Awfully quick to have a book deal – isn’t it?
Disgusted. Why would she publish private things about a close friend?
Horrified.
ALSO, IF THIS IS FOR HER FRIEND.. WHO SHE CARED SO MUCH ABOUT.
WHY NOT DONATE ALL THE PROCEEDS?
I BET FARRAH DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT ANY OF THIS.
I agree with everything that Angry is saying,if she was so much of a good friend why is a portion only going to cancer society.Maybe Ryan can tell us.
How ghastly, putting out a book in such unseemly haste. Alana Stewart says Farrah wanted her to write it, but we’ll never really know, will we?
WHAT A GOLD DIGGING OVER BOTOXED ,USER. Agree THIS SO CALLED FRIEND SHOULD PAY THE PUBLISHERS, AND GIVE THE REST TO CANCER REASEARCH.
WOULD NOT TRUST A WORD OF IT
Of course Alana could publish this quickly. She already had all the material at hand.
As someone who almost died from colon cancer in 2001 because doctors were not listening to me, I applaud Farah’s ability to open her story to help others.
My own books about my journey and the talks I give to health professionals have already helped so many avoid these dangers.
Thank you Alana for joining ‘the cause’.
People! Farrah wasn’t stupid but thought of others besides herself. She was aware of the positive and negative outcomes from this story she did.The positive beat out all the negative comments. It encouraged people as so will the diary. If you went through cancer and had the needles stuck in your body as she did, could you do it.Could you show the WORLD! She wanted people to know the real deal as she knew what the real deal was. If it the diary as the story helps someone and opens the doors to alternative treatments that might save someone’s life who are you to judge. Plus Alana was a friend to the end because she assisted, supported and encouraged her friend to the end.People remember she was on all the trips out of the country and by her side totally to the end. Oh she wasn’t working a job during this whole ordeal either. She was helping her friend die on her terms and she did have a victory. She lived much longer than MDs thought possible and she did what she wanted to do live!
