A&E Jackson reality show: What now?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, an hour-long reality special following Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Randy Jackson — commissioned months before Michael Jackson's death — will likely have to change its tone following the King of Pop's passing.

Tentatively titled The Jackson Family, the A&E show was scheduled to air next year, and the network had already finished shooting for the special. No additional footage has been shot since Jackson's death, but it appears as though A&E has not made a decision regarding whether or not to air the special. "We have started discussing internally and with the family but have not yet decided what direction to take with the show," A&E execs told Hollywood Reporter in a statement. "We are respecting the family's wishes right now, and at the appropriate time we will all decide what direction this program to take, so stay tuned."

Alright, so they followed the Jacksons around; probably paid them $80,000 per episode; and what happened? What are we to get from this? I don’t get all these family reality shows. But hey — they get paid so that’s good for them right?
The latest news has Joe getting $500K from interviews. So at least he’s getting paid. And there’s a report in Friedman’s column that in May Joe was screaming at Michael that he Joe was broke.
That poor guy, what a terrible family to be born into. Only his mother comes out smelling like a rose.
I don’t remember seeing Joe shed a tear yet. Do you?

You know celebs have hit hard times when they turn to reality shows for money and fame.
It’s apparent that Michael J’s family was in the poor house; that’s too bad. All that talent and no one knows how to capitalize off of it.
Maybe MJ’s revenge was having white children by a white woman and leaving it all to the white kids; you think?

There is a major poll running over at http://www.tinyurl.com/evilgood as to whether Michael Jackson was good or evil. Evil is currently in the lead! I think this poll is being recorded in some sort of record book, anyways, everybody go vote for good!!

If it was created long before this event-why not show it. It might give us some insight into just how much time his brothers spent together-with Michael and how much they supported each other. Unless it’s an absolute made up concoction that was created only for shallow entertainment for the generation aging and would taint the relationship we’d hope they’d had.

Why do you need insight into any thing? How is this anyone’s business?
This is nothing more than a cash cow.
A&E Should be ashamed they are pandering to the same Joe Jackson-esque attitude that has caused so much pain to his deceased son. Maybe we can get Joe to run through the house at 3:AM screaming at Paris , Prince , and Blanket to GET UP the camera’s are rolling. Like he did his other children. Lets start a new destructive cycle of tragedy … it’s a new millennium of lovemichaelforevers…… willing to hound his children into self destructive behavior just so they can feel close to this dead tortured man. R.I.P. will never happen for MJ … Thanks A&E.

I turly think this show is for the birds. I agree the bothers are bad as Mr. Big Willy Style Joe Jackson, far as I’m concern they are all haters this includes themselfs. They are not bright enough to understand how to make money unless it knocks on the door right A&E. Talk about no talent thank the good Lord Michael was a part of your life’s.
