Rachael Ray underwent non-invasive surgery last week to remove a benign cyst from her vocal cord, People.com reports exclusively. "The hardest part for Rachael is going to be giving her voice a rest for the next week or so," said a spokesperson for the perky talk-show host and Food Network star. Last December, Ray had called off a similar procedure and attempted to solve the problem through vocal therapy.

Didn’t your mothers ever tell you that if you can’t say something nice about someone, don’t say anything at all? RR’s alright – I can take her or leave her. But even if you don’t like her, there’s absolutely NO reason for the nasty-*ss comments.
Yeah, but she is not just some regular person you meet on the street – she is being paid millions of dollars a year to entertain us, to be in the public eye. If she fails to do her job to OUR satisfaction (we are her “employers”) then we have every right to be critical. If you failed to do your job correctly what happens? You get fired. How is this any different?
