Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas, as well as Demi Lovato, will begin filming later this summer on Disney Channel's Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, which will premiere sometime in 2010 and include some plot points inspired by Romeo and Juliet. The sequel to the network's megahit, which will have a new director, Paul Hoen (Jump In!), finds the Jonas's characters — Jason, Nate, and Shane — returning to Camp Rock and discovering that some of its staff and students have abandoned it for a new rival, Camp Star, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The action will find Nick Jonas' character falling for the daughter of Camp Star's owner.

Thank goodness they are getting a new directorial & writing team. These kids deserved so much better than that first movie.
I’m excited, but I had a feeling that they were gonna give Nick a bigger part. Just because he’s the creative lead.
ugh! NO! The jonas brothers should’nt do a second one of these movies! They’re so..junior high. the entire who falls for who scenario is so played out. They need to consider doing a big screen movie (not their concerts which were amazing btw)with super famous writers and directors on it. Even though they don’t need the money..but still. i’m a girl who loves the Jonas brothers as much as the next person but the first movie was so predicatble ya know?! Even though Kevin was freakin’ hillarious! “Did you build my birdhouse yet?”
Jump In was good and the Hannah Movie was pretty amazingly written…i think this is going to be much better then the first movie and all of the cast has evolves as actors i mean the first movie, face it they werent the best actors ever. lol. I <3 jb and i cant wait!
I am soooo glad they got a new director. I LOOOOVE the Jonas guys, but the first one was painful, partially because they cast Demi (of all people!) to play Mitchie. At least we might see more of Nate and Jason this time.
