will there be any “white” people performing at the MJ memorial? AND, if California is broke, who is paying for the millions of dollars this is going to cost, to have a huge public spectacle like this??? it’s ridiculous.

Dude, last time I checked, Brooke Sheilds was about as white as you can get.

  • Sophia

I think Chris Brown should be there and perform, regardless of his mistakes Chris is talented and looked up to Michael, he was his idol

  • kim

I think John Mayer is a little bit whiter than Brooke.

John Mayer might be a little whiter than Brooke Shields. Discuss….

  • Marie

Hey Jo-Jo, last time I checked, John Mayer was white. He is a singer, is he not??? And, seeing that this is a preliminary list, I’m sure it will get much, much larger in the next few hours.

Good grief. Is there anything John Mayer WON’T do?

  • amye

Well, wasn’t Michael technically “white”. Besides, who cares? What’s important is that the services are done with respect & compassion (for Michael, for his family, for any victims there may have been).
And since Rev. Al’s involved, I guess you can throw respect right out the window.

Chris Brown is white. He’s a crackah!

Moonshake, to answer your question, Jennifer Aniston. Hey-O!!!

  • the real deal

John Mayer played on a Cover of Beat It that Fallout Boy did. Very slick cover.

Don’t you pay attention? It is paid for by the promoters of his concert (London) and the Jackson family. City of LA paying for the usual police-safety services from their budget for such things.
And remember – IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU’RE BLACK OR WHITE!!

Why is the rapist, Kobe, going to be there?

  • Thad

Anybody who’s anybody won’t be there. Making a spectacle of someone’s death is just tacky, to say the least. Only camera whores and publicity junkies will be there.

  • dee

So, do any of Michael’s true friends get invited? or does Al Sharpton control the list?
