Madonna paid tribute to Michael Jackson on the opening night of her "Sticky and Sweet" concerts in the same London arena Jackson was due to perform his comeback concerts later this month. After a Jackson impersonator performed many of the late pop music mega-star's signature moves to "Billie Jean" and "Wanna Be Startin' Something," Madonna told the crowd "Let's give it up for one of the greatest artists the world has ever known. Michael Jackson: Long live the king!"

Who cares what that tramp thinks or does
Big Deal. So the Gristle Queen has an impersonator dance for 5 minutes. She’s impersonating beef jerky.
I dont understand why the world is full of hate. Im pretty sure if it was one of your relatives that passed away, you wouldnt want people making fun of them. God bless us all….
This was a breathtakingly beautiful tribute. Some say she should have performed instead of the lookalike, but what people dont know is that this person is her professional backup dancer who was a very big michael jackson fan, so she let him have it. Also, I’m certain that IF she did perform it by herself people would name it tasteless, cuz thats what people do, they’re full of hate, instead of love and appreciation.
“Who cares what that tramp thinks or does”, obviously you did.
I think that was very nice of Madonna. I don’t understand why people would bash her for paying tribute to a deceased fellow musician.
The attention may be a little much since most of you are only “Thriller” fans of MJ. Many of us however are MJ5 fans from as far back as the early 70s. Most of us know the B-side to most of the jackson 5 singles. Most of us were “moonwalking” long before “Thriller” We are fans because we grew up with them and their music. Most of the hatefull comments come from people who did not like his music and were not fans–at all. I understand, many of us were not Elvis fans and didn’t listen to his music (some of us even hated him). So I really don’t listen to the critics or the hateful “who cares” comments cause I know if it were one of their “favorites” they would be just like us. MJ the dark, large-afo little boy who sang “maria”, “rockin robin”, “I’ll be there”, “Sugar daddy”, “ABC”, “going back to indiana”, omg, to those of us who knew and loved his family’s music will miss him very, very, much.
sad! ‘tramp’
that was a classy way for madonna to pay tribute to a fellow icon. some of the people posting on this site are haters and losers.
don’t pay attn. to the haters. they’re hypocrites, they hate someone but gotta waste their time reading and watching all about that person. and i agree, michael was a person. why the hate? he never did anything to anyone expect help them. and he’s still treated like trash? thank you madonna!! it’s nice to see another 80s icon pay tribute to the king of pop.
Whatever your personal opinions of madonna, this was a very classy tribute. Very good. Nice to see an appropriate tribute rather than BET’s hot mess last week. Hurray madonna!
It is all of unfortunate to heard about your death, may you rest in perfect peace, and your labour on earth will still be remembered.
Everybody own death a debt, and we must paid,it is a very better news to all your fans, take care and rest till the day of judgement
Very cool and classy, Madge. Too bad they never got to perform together. Can you imagine the King and Queen of Pop in a dance-off?!? And I wonder if Prince is ever going to make a comment…
When I see an impersonator, even a good one, trying to do Michael’s moves I realize how sharp and precise Michael’s moves really were. He had a quality that even the best imitator can’t recreate.
