The Associated Press has reported that the sedative Diprivan was found in Michael Jackson's home, according to a law enforcement official speaking on the condition of anonymity. The drug, also known as Propofol, is an intravenous anesthetic used often in operating rooms to induce unconsciousness. It is very unusual to have it in a private home. Experts say the drug can lead to cardiac arrest, especially when combined with others.

In a situation like this you also have to remember that Jackson did have a private doctor with him who might have left the Diprivan behind when he went missing. I won’t believe that Michael was using this drug until the toxicology results come in stating that the drug was found in his system. Point blank.
Clearly Michael was a little insane as
noone in there right mind would take that drug at home.

Kylie,
diprivan has a very short half life- thereas the toxicology tests may not show the correct results.
Anaesthesiology is a whole different cup of soup. I believe the doctor has a lot of responsibility in Michael’s death. He did not know the address of the your patient who is the worlds greatest pop star, you could not use your own cellphone to make the 911 call, and the fact that reports are now showing that serious drugs was found in his house. He could have left the house and went next door to ask for a phone. And what about the guy who eventually made the call, where was he? He could have called from his cellphone and don’t tell me he did not have a cellphone, for we should then check to see when was the last time he used his cellphone and if it is common practice to leave it when on private call. Now this may be the case and Michael may very well have asked him not to carry one when ona visit, but that is left to be seen. Put him in you car and drive to the hospital! Maybe dangerous but better than calling 30 mins later when you were sure he was lready dead. What a shame!!
I caught an interview with an anethesiologist that was with Jackson for his HISTORY tour. He said he used diprovan to sedate him as he had chronic insomnia. They basically had a traveling clinic setup with monitoring equipment so the anesthesiologist could monitor while Jackson slept.
sorry, correction. It was Sanja Gupta on CNN who was quoting anonymous sources but he did go to the home of the anethesiologist and he had no comment.
I wonder whether the fact that Diprivan has a short time in the body led the doctor to delay calling for help. Most people are thinking that the doctor is honest. The longer he can delay Michael getting to the hospital, the better the chance Diprivan won’t be found in his system and he can’t be implicated. You can bet they drew blood immediately when he arrived in the ER.
The evidence is starting to pile up. CNN was talking about all the medical equipment he had during his tour.

The bodyguard told ABC that he often had to wake Mike up to go on stage and make appearances, that Uri Geller tried to get him to confess to drug use. We forget that he was in rehab one time. The guys was an extremist, that’s all. He was an extreme in everything he did. Extremists usually die young.
We recently released a Michael Jackson tribute cover of “The Way You Make Me Feel” on YouTube. It is located at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F166o1QO6Y8. We will miss you, Michael, forever the King of Pop.
His doctors-or whoever-should be punished for prescribing or somehow getting that medication to him. One good thing about this mess is the bringing to light of the poison that is out there and is pushed on patients or freely given over changing lifestyles and other ways of healing. Many doctors are out to make money and there is no money if everyone takes care of themselves. Pushing pharmaceuticals is big business. It is sickening that healthcare has become a profession in which the priority is profit over true healing especially if drugs are what did cause his death.

What doctor, even a personal doctor, in his/her right mind would permit this??!!!?? Even MJ’s personal physician(s) saw “The Almighty Dollar Sign!” It is so very, very sad & disgusting. When will doctors be verbal and say “Enough IS enough.” Let Heath Ledger’s, Elvis’ and Michael’s deaths wake-up “the common Joe/Jill” to not succumb to everything their physicians want to peddle (ie. the cornucopia of pharmaceuticals out there)? And that “the common Joe/Jill” be strong enough to NOT ask for this kind of treatment to overcome their anxieties & depressions. Just because physicians have very wealthy patients, doesn’t excuse letting the patient dictate his/her desire for this. Nor a wealthy patient to be used as a “cash cow.” Doctor, educate thyself. Patient, educate thyself.
