Michael Jackson's family has chosen a burial ground for the late entertainer, E! News is reporting. According to the report, Jackson's body is now being held at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuaries in the Hollywood Hills, where it will ultimately be interred. Reached by EW.com, a spokesman for Forest Lawn had no comment.

they need to create the Jackson mosoleum like they did for ceasar augustus.
The family would like to bury him at a place that can be turned into a Graceland to make money. To prevent problems it would be better if he were cremated with the family retaining the ashes.
Michael Jackson was loved by many and he is a part of all our lives, let the family do what needs to be done so Michael can rest in peace.

He Is Being Barried In L.A By His Home
If this is true regarding interment at Forest Lawn, this really surprises me. Even though thousands of visitors go to the various Forest Lawn cemeteries around Los Angeles, FL has a policy of not identifying the location of one’s grave. They don’t really welcome visitors as do several other parks, like “Hollywood Forever.”
Okay apparently some people don’t know what they are talking about. Hollywood Forever Cemetary (which I personally think he should have been buried there, if not at Neverland Ranch, but that’s me I don’t have a say lol) anyway, Hollywood Forever DOES welcome visitors. I have many friends buried there but I went one day to visit my friends and check out which celebs were buried there. The security guard happily guided me to the ‘gift shop’ where they had MAPS of where celebrities were buried and I was given a tour from the helpful security guard. So to say Hollywood Forever isn’t welcoming to visitors is a load of -you know what-
A public viewing is wrong for Michael as his private life he liked to keep private. This is one of the most private moments of life. I feel like I’ve been a protector of him from the beginning-I wish I would have pursued it in reality. Most all wakes are public-I agree-but Michael was too big to involve the general public-the comments on all the blogs should be representative on who would show up. I personally would like to pay my last respects to someone I admired and truly wished I’d known-but not in the chaos and poor behaved American behavior that will likely be surrounding him. My wish for him is that he be cremated, kept with his mother and then when she dies, be buried with her so she can protect him for ever. I’m sure I will get nasty comments, but I am actually having a really hard time with this and still feel the need to defend him as I don’t want to see him be made into a spectacle. Please lay him to rest before letting in the public.

It’s so amazing how we grow up as fans of celebrities, most of us never meet them but are so moved when tragedy strikes. He was and will forever be a part of me and my family. Through his music, spirit, family, fans, and our love for him, Micheal will continue to live and be the best.
My prayers go up and my heart goes out to all of his fans, family, & friends. He will be loved forever.

i remember when i was a kid i see a cute young boy with a different voice, dance and style really impressed me and i became one of his fan i grew with him and share my life with his spirit of his music he was beyond my understanding. whenever i go through his work i get something new who inspired the world, human being, he was ahead of this generation he will be more figured out in next generations. the world lost his voice, i am still crying and miss him but he is always with me. dear micheal rest in peace….

Common sense is ignored. Michael belongs in NeverLand. A tomb area along the beautiful landscaping, bring back the animals, the rides, the people. Let his fans bring him the laughter and never leave him lonely again. The proceeds could be used to pay off debt, have a continuing legacy for his children, and build a foundation that continues to give to the less fortunate that Michael cared so much about around the world. No is an unacceptable answer and this should happen NOW, not later. Is there really any basic empathy, spirituality, or decency left in this world? Why are people more worried about his drug/money/sex life than rallying to make sure that he truly rests in glorious peace? No one has time for death anymore!

I too believe Michael’s final resting place, without a doubt, MUST BE NEVERLAND!!!! There are millions of us fans who want to visit our KING and witness the dreams he worked so hard to build. If the people of the surrounding community are so selfishly concerned about their 2 lane highway being bombarded, then in time WE can build a seperate road or extention of the existing one into the 3000 acre grounds, just for the millions of FANS to mourne our beloved KING. I’ve been to Graceland which charges like $70 USD per person (at least that’s what it was when I visited in 1996). Why would MJ be treated any different????..The admission charged into Neverland will more than cover this expense and be visited FOREVER, for US and the CHILDREN to make this world a better place!!! Michael Jackson said in previous statements that Neverland was tanted by all the bad gossip that is why he didn’t stay there anymore he rented a new place and then visited the Ranch..All the fun of Neverland is gone… I don’t think he should be burried there
