Michael Jackson's will filed in court

Lawyers have filed a will for Michael Jackson in court. The document, which was created in 2002, names Jackson's mother, Katherine, as guardian of the performer's three children. (Interestingly, it also stipulates that should Katherine Jackson be deceased, Diana Ross would be nominated as guardian.) "I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Rowe Jackson," Jackson's will also says. The court system will ultimately decide who will be granted custody of Jackson's children.

It’s sad that the family will be fighting over this for years!

Everybody is lining up to get their grubby hands on his money. Poor Michael, everybody’s piggybank.

hey, I’d rather let Diana Ross take my kids than LaToya…

    the media killed Michael!!!

    To dee dee:
Nobody will get their grubby hands on Michael’s money because he is over $400million in debt. Why does everybody praise him so much. Yes, he was a true innovator, but his music has not stood the test of time. Don’t think so..how often do you hear a car stereo blasting his music. Never! You only hear it on VH1 remembering the PAST. The guy became as self absorbed/child like as Howard Hughes did. He had so much potential but decided to share his bed with little boys. Very sickening.

Rickey, i’m sorry but you are sorely mistaken. michael’s music has not stood the test of time? really?? michael was an icon and a musical genius. his personal life (or people’s judgements of it) shouldn’t have any bearing when considering his talent. maybe SOME people only claim to love MJ now that he’s gone. but to me, thriller was, is, and always will be one of the greatest and most beloved albums of all time. i also loved bad, and most of the jackson 5 songs. there may not be another talent as great as MJ’s for many years. and yes, i’ll be blasting michael on my radio whenever i have the chance.

To Ricky: He may be in debt, but with this renewed attention to his music he will come out ahead. Time will tell on that one. I praise the talented man he was who had a very sad childhood which led to a very complicated and sad life. For those of us who grew up listening to his music in his early career, his music was part of our growing up. For many of you who didn’t grow up with him during that time probably can’t relate to how many of us feel right now. The tragedy is that so many people were using him as their own personal checking account starting with his his money hungry family. Thanks to the abuse of his father, Michael led a tragic life that ended with his death. His abuses were a cry for help. You are entitled to feel as you want and so am I. I for one have never listened to him on VH1. However thank you VH1 for remembering the great performers of the past, because that was when music was the greatest, like Michael’s.

    To Dee Dee & Kara:
The only reason we will be hearing MJ’s music is due to his death is causing them to reminisce their own past and how the music made them feel at that time. The same happen to all very popular artists after their death. But in a few months the cd’s will be stored away again and this years pop artists will be listened to again. I did grow up with MJ and listened to his music when I was in high school, I even went to see him in concert. But, I get sick and tired of people making the “money grabbing” excuses and “sad childhood” excuses for the sick person he became. He never mentally grew up and so died a sad, sad person. So yes I agree everyone has the right to their own opinion, but my realistic opinion is not hindered by false emotions that most people are now portraying.

this MJ is the only MJ in my mind!

Shallow, shallow stuff we occupy ourselves with these days. MJ is still alive and living with Elvis. They both ride unicorns every day at noon, and Joe Jackson is a morally-upstanding human being. Now give it a freaking rest…. PLEASE!!!! HE’S DEAD. GET OVER IT!!!! What is this? The retard bandwagon?

Some of us actually have stood by Michael through all all of his good times and the bad. I read ever article and watched every interview that has related to him and all of the allegations. I came to the conclusion he is a great man who was wrongfully accused. Anyone who actually stayed in tune with him would have made the same conclusion. No, Michael wasn’t “all there”, however anyone who knows anything about psychiatry would understand. Every person reacts different to their life and their situation. He had a sad lonely life because no one allowed him to live freely. I don’t know who decided if you sing well, perform well, or act well you deserve the have everyone watch every move you make and not allow you to enjoy your life.
