Fans of ABC's Castle, starring Nathan Fillion, can now bring the dashing mystery writer's work to the beach. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC.com will unveil chapters of a novel titled Heat Wave—credited to Richard Castle—for 10 weeks beginning Aug. 10. The complete novel will then be published in print Sept. 29, tied to the launch of Castle's second season.

It’s interesting how committed ABC seems to be in making the show work.
So, will the novel be about the characters in Castle, or will it actually be about the made-up Nikki Heat character? And who is doing the actual writing? (Obviously Richard Castle is not a real person).
