Rev. Run to Jon Gosselin: 'Cherish' wife and kids

Ahead of the sixth season of his MTV show, Run's House, Run told People that he and his wife, Justine, have avoided the kind of troubles that now plague the Gosselins by keeping "your eye on what you cherish. Francis Ford Coppola: Buy his wine, 'produce' his movie
Successful winemaker-filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, who financed and is distributing the independent movie Tetro, told the Los Angeles Times that "everyone who buys a bottle of [Coppola] wine is a participating producer of my movie." To help promote his latest flick, the director took out a full-page ad in the Timesthat features a big picture of star Vincent Gallo and a bottle of Coppola's Claret Diamond red wine. The Napa Valley-based director and Hollywood outcast by choice says, "I wouldn't be able to make and finance personal independent films without having a very successful business behind me."
Tetro, a mostly black-and-white film about an Italian-American family, is set in Buenos Aires and is playing for a week in limited release in Los Angeles and New York. It will expand this week into other cities including Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco. Coppola told the Times that he hopes he can expand the run of his movie if his ads sell enough bottles of wine.
Television commercials are too loud, declares California politician
Ever notice when the volume of a commercial is vastly louder than the dialogue in your favorite TV show? U.S. Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Calif., hopes to do something about it. According to press reports, Eshoo is sponsoring a bill that would require the FCC to "preclude commercials from being broadcast at louder volumes than the program material they accompany."
The Big Four may already be attempting to address the problem, however. "The major television broadcast networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox, are each, individually, implementing policies that attempt to control loud commercials," said David Donovan, president of the Association for Maximum Service Television, or MSTV, a broadcast industry trade group.

Miley Cyrus: Season 4 was her choice, dad insists
Miley Cyrus is either taking one for the team by agreeing to a fourth season of Hannah Montana or not-so-humbly fulfilling the terms of her multi-year deal with Disney Channel. The singer's father, Billy Ray, told Access Hollywood that he gives "a lot of credit to Miley for taking it another year. She didn't want it to just end with whatever was the last episode we did. She wanted it to build to where there's a moral to the story, to where it doesn’t just end and go away and that’s it. She wanted there to be an official ending to Hannah Montana."
But the singer-actress also had a contract to fulfill; a Disney source told EW that the network already had an option on Cyrus, 16, for a fourth season and simply decided to exercise it.
'Milk' writer releases statement on sex photos
Oscar-winning Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, an outspoken advocate of LGBT rights and safe sex, has released a statement after sexually explicit photos that appear to depict him having unprotected sex hit the Internet yesterday. The photos are reportedly for sale, and a video is said to exist as well. In a statement released to E! Online's Marc Malkin, Black said: "It is unfortunate that individuals and other outside parties are trying to profit from material which is clearly private. I have had the privilege to speak to people across the country, both gay and straight, on a number of critical issues including safe sex. More important than the embarrassment of this incident is the misleading message these images send. I apologize and cannot emphasize enough the importance of responsible sexual practices."
Malkin says a source told him the other man in the three-year-old photos is someone Black was dating. Black's lawyers are said to be seeking legal action.
