I don’t mind paying something for the original tickets i purchased but not the whole amount. i got the most expensive tickets and after show party tickets too, so if i had to forfeit the full amount for a momento and others who only paid £50 can have thiers for a smaller amount then a lot of people won’t be happy. tickets or refund won’t work.
This is a GREAT performance:

I agree, AEG is in huge debt and they need to prevent refunds. But the ticket stub may be priceless. The money would have gone to michale in any way so a true fan would not ask for a refund. http://shortpeopledate.com
Cash vs Sentimental/ could garner even MORE cash in the future
I would go with sentiment now, cash for grandchildren
No its not fair at all. It should def b a set amt, and the rest refunded! I started a group on facebook for this, hopefully with all of us working together we maybe able to get the outcome we deserve. Please join! http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=96219551730&ref=mf
What are you talking about–that it isn’t fair? You get your money back, or you can get a ticket that is already worth more than you paid for it. They haven’t even been issued yet and are selling for $180 on eBay… which from what I understand is at least $50 more than what the most expensive ticket cost. So you want $80 in cash AND an $180 ticket too?? Greedy…
How greedy… You want your $80-$125 refund AND a ticket whose going rate is now about $180 on eBay.
And for everyone complaining about AEG trying to recoup their losses–well, what would you do if that was your job, your company?? They bailed MJ out of some of his debt, were helping him revive a career that other concert promoters weren’t touching with a 10 foot pole, and gave him a sense of meaning in the last days of his life. They poured money into this project. It’s not about making a profit, it’s about recouping their losses.
you people better stop and think for just a minute, this ticket was the last thing with michael’s name on it and was a sell out, do you know how many people would love to have a piece of history. i say keep the tickets it is already worth more than what you paid for it. it is surreal, just stop and think you have the real ticket, not a copy not a fake but the real thing, how blessed is that.
if you receive a refund you should be made to turn the ticket back in as refunds are given, you can’t have it both ways.
kamaldeep you sound young and inexperienced about life making decision, do you realize the magnitude of what you hold and no one said that you could not have your money back, are you reading the refund story correctly because what are you talking about.
people are forgetting ,how about the 800 000 program’s they have already printed ,and also the fact there are 800, 000 tickets in circulation……
give it 2 months and you can pick commemorative tickets up from e-bay for between £30-£40 ,,,thats just a fact ,,,,
