Ugggg. This reminds me of that Simpsons Episode where Lisa was in a band contest and lost due to the other team using sparklers or something like that and Bill Clinton overturns the results and tells her if you don’t get your way keep complaining until you do.

Finally this nightmare is over. Yay I finally have two senators!
And Joeny…you really want to talk about complaining? Norm stretched this thing for months, his efforts clearly funded by the Republican party just to keep another Dem out of the Senate for as long as possible.

I’d like to believe that this farce stops here, but I bet it goes all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court before it’s over. As a Minnesotan, it’s extremely frustrating that both of these candidates continue to claim that they only want fairness and justice for voters, while in the meantime we’ve gone half a year with only one seated senator representing us at an extremely critical time for this country. I voted for Franken, but after this whole fiasco, I don’t think I want either of them sitting in that seat.

Let’s hope the Coleman will conceed his loss so that the people of MN can be properly represented by 2 senators in the senate. I’m sure that the people of MN have had enough of this already.

I only wish this was the end of all this madness. There is no way that Coleman will just give up now, he’ll just keep going until he finds someone who will give him a break. You think all those across the country are sick of it? Try living in the Minnesota! I agree with Stacey, after all this I don’t want either in the seat!

    Coleman concedes 4:20 PM.
Josie, your commenting license is now revoked for lack of knowing anything, or being able to predict anything.

Shut up Mark. You don’t live in Minnesota so you clearly don’t know what Coleman is like. The fact he is giving in finally is fairly surprising considering all he’s attempted to do to win this.

Jesse Ventura was one thing, Minnesota – at least as governor he was confined to your own state. But forcing the dispicable Al Franken on the country is just too much.

  • Chip

They are both losers. Minnesota didn’t know which goof to vote for. Franken god willing, will be a 1 term senator also. Amy n Al make quite a pair!

  • Union Man

Another crushing defeat for Republican scum. Your Death Star has been blown up, losers. Deal with it!

Franken won and my soul just died. How embarrasing. First we Minnesotans get Jesse Ventura as governor and now we have to deal with this clown? I wasn’t a fan of Coleman either, but at least he’s not a partisan liberal jackass. Makes me want to cross the border to Wisconsin.

  • Mumu

Finally! That Republican wanted Franken to be a class act and step down. Instead, Coleman ended up wasting everyone’s money and time for the already recounted vote. Shame, shame on him.

  • mage?!

It is about time, now I hope that he can keep his promises. I think that after all this fight he will do a great job. Go out there and give ‘em hell, Al.
Mr Franken goes to Washington? Yes.

All I can think of is the 1980? Weekend News Update where Franken says: “This is the decade of me, Al Franken.”
