Misy Peregrym, most recently seen on Reaper, has landed a new series: She's set to star in the Canadian import Copper. According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC is billing the show as the show is "set in the world of rookie cops," and Peregrym will play a freshman police officer whose father is a homicide detective. Before Reaper, Peregrym was a regular on Heroes and Life As We Know It, as well as the star of Stick It.

Missy Peregrym is one of those faces that you’ve got to love. She’s not exactly pretty, is far from ugly, isn’t built like a Victoria Secret model, but isn’t shapeless by any stretch of the imagination. So what am I trying to say here? Simply that she has that girl next door/best female bud vib that makes her totally appealing. Always thought Sam (on Reaper) was an arse for not grabbing her and never letting go.
So, Missy on a new show…GOOD! I’ll watch. Why? That’s easy. Because she’s watchable. The producers of Copper made a good choice.

Wow, lionjack just wrote the worst backhanded-compliment I’ve ever read. “She’s not exactly pretty, is far from ugly, isn’t built like a Victoria Secret model, but isn’t shapeless by any stretch of the imagination.” Geez…real subtle. The fact is that Missy is gorgeous and has a body like Jessica Biel. I’m sure to watch Copper now, simply because of MP. Can’t wait for the pilot.
