Singer-actress Gale Storm died on Saturday at age 87, according to a Danville,Calif. nursing facility where she was a patient. Storm is perhaps best known for setting the stage for female stars in the 1950s with her first sitcom My Little Margie. She also starred in the 1950s sitcom The Gale Storm Show: Oh! Susanna, and recorded several top-10 pop hits for Dot Records that same decade. [CNN]
