People who bought tickets to Michael Jackson's sold-out London shows will likely be refunded the cost, according to both the Guardian and the BBC. The 50 shows were set to begin in July, but the ticket agencies were thrown into turmoil after news spread of Jackson's death yesterday. Concert organizer AEG Live told the BBC that an announcement could be made today about refunds. The report also notes that it's less clear what will happen with tickets bought through private internet brokers because there's often not an official refund policy in place.
UPDATE: Concert promoter AEG Live announced Friday that ticket buyers will receive full refunds, according to NME.com. AEG said it will release additional refund information next week, and that ticket holders should keep their vouchers or proofs of purchase.

I feel sorry for anyone who bought tickets through e-Bay. They’re screwed.
In the age of internet sold tickets, the ticketing agencies can just credit back the price of the ticket to the buyer’s credit card without the agency retrieving tickets (a friend got a refund on a canceled concert that way). That will now make those tickets collectors items.
