perez says he wasn’t pressured, but admitted he was doing this only because his ridiculous behavior has hurt him more than the punches. that’s pressure! so he’s worse than will.i.am’s sidekick who punched Perez. maybe he should sue himself!
I actually like Perez, and his website, and his commitment to LGBT activisim… which is why I’m so incredibly disappointed in his actions regarding this incident. He’s very hellbent on his “there is no excuse for violence” defense, but in saying so, he’s also dismissing any violence in the anti-gay slur that triggered the punches. It’s a chain reaction: “just thoughts” to “just words” to violence. He was too proud to apologize to GLAAD, but let’s see how he responds to Judy Shephard. If any one knows the pain, grief and suffering that can start from hateful language, it’s her. As an amazing woman who continues to be the beacon for promoting respect and compassion, let’s hope her statement will help him open his eyes on this one.
I totally think Perez got what he deserved. I think he is a loud mouth who can dish it out but cant take it. I lost all respect for him when he pulled that crap and asked Miss California her OPINION and bashed her for her answer. I for one believe gays should be able to marry one another. If you ask for someone’s opinion, dont get your feelings hurt by their answer.
I am so over Perez Hilton. It’s not just that he’s an idiot, it’s that the worst thing he could think to call this Black-Eyed Pea is the very thing that he himself is, a f*g. The depth of self-loathing is amazing…and terribly, terrible sad. I stopped following him more than a year ago. What’s the point?
It’s so great to see a gay guy get beaten up like that. Especially a hypocritical one who thinks he can just call people f*g and get away with it, just because he’s gay.
Ever since the miss california episode, this guy has disgusted me so much I want to puke…I sincerely cannot wait to see the “PEREZ HILTON HAS DIED” headline on the internet.
