The late-night wars are definitely heating up: For the week ending June 19, CBS' The Late Show With David Letterman beat The Tonight Show in viewers for the first time since December 2005. In the third week since Conan O'Brien took over The Tonight Show, Letterman averaged 3.46 million viewers — a 13 percent jump compared to the same week last year. O'Brien, in comparison, averaged 3.32 million viewers, up 4 percent from the previous year.
O'Brien still won the week among adults 18-49, but Letterman trailed by just one-half a rating point.

Are you talking about the comment about the trampy girl that got raped (Sarah Palin’s words, not mine) by that of-age boy when she was still underage? You know, the rapist that she welcomed into her family to minimize the damage to her political career? That comment? Yeah, he’s a huge jerk.

You should check out the show on any given night because they do jokes very similar on a regular basis. Why is it that one mention of Palin’s BS and Letterman is condemned? Give me a break. Get a life.

Don’t like Letterman at all – he’s not at all funny or entertaining. O’Brien is fresh and funny.

Letterman’s monologue’s have gotten much longer and more on point. When Leno was on, Letterman would tell 3 or 4 jokes and retire to his desk. Now, he’s making them longer & better.
Conan is going to have to change his “frat boy” routine for something sophisticated. But then, this is Conan . . .

Conan O’Brian STINKS!! He stunk on late night Now he stinkin up The Tonite Show. WHY in God’s name did they let him take that job?? Well NBC now has 2 stinkers in a row. O’Brian and that other Unfunny clown that follows him. Thank God I have “The Dish Network” I can go find a good late night show to watch cause Letterman stinks to.
