Janet Jackson has signed on to star in Why Did I Get Married Too, Tyler Perry's sequel to his successful 2007 comedy, which was based on his own stage play, Variety reports. Jackson will again play a successful author and psychologist who is better at dissecting other people's relationships than her own marriage. The movie is set to release in April 2010.
UPDATE: The Variety report was published before news of the death of Janet's brother Michael Jackson. No word yet on whether his passing has changed her plans for the role.
