Actor Lou Diamond Phillips was named winner of the reality show I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here on last night's finale, defeating fellow finalists John Salley and Torrie Wilson. He has selected the charity Art Has Heart Foundation, which awards scholarships to lower income high school students, to receive a portion of his prize money. Phillips' screen credits include La Bamba, Young Guns, Courage Under Fire, and a stint on 24.

Much to my surprise I actually enjoyed this show. The “celebrities” turned out to be very interesting. The interaction between them was really neat. That, and the lifelong development as friends. Lou Diamond is a real cool dude, and a great person. His commitment to this silly show was extraordinary. Torrie also was a great shock. What a hot babe who is so genuine, and real. When she would wear her glasses to read so cool, and normal. Plus she was in amazing physical condition. It was neat how over the course of three weeks you saw them all lose weight, except Torrie who actually gained muscle weight. Well I thought this was a fun stupid show!
I enjoyed the show too, much to my dismay!
I enjoyed the show too. Especially when it got down to Diamond, Patti, Salley, Sanjaya, Holly (not Heidi), Torrie, Janice, and Stephen.
The interaction was great without being over the top.
I’m glad LDP won; he’s a gentleman. The one who really surprised me, though, was Sanjaya. The guy was the challenge champ! Amazing. Evidently there’s more to him than meets the eye! I hope he & Holly develop something.
In fact, the only thing I didn’t like were the hosts…they weren’t that good.
I am glad Phillips won also. He showed real commitment to the show. And, he wasn’t bad to look at either … great bod.
I thought Patti was the star. She had some real moments.
i agree i was suprised i even watched the show but enjoyed it…the only thing wrong was that the hosts sucked!!
i agree i was surprised i even watched the show but thought it ral entertaining…everyone on it towards the end were genuine and i was rooting for anyone of them to win…excluding stephen baldwin (quitter) janice (ugh!!) the only problem was the Hosts, they were horrible, the dude was pompus the girl arrogant, fire those 2 and get better hosts!!!
I think the show was kool… I’m more glad to see that Lou won he’s my fav. N is really hot!
There’s only one legitimate place I’ve found to watch it, the rest seem like scams :-/ You can see it over here though: http://vostuu.com/watch28015.html
They make you do a little survey but after that it’s good to go
I too enjoyed the show, the hosts were terrible! I was amazed how they all bonded minus Janice..ugh! I read that Stevie B. quit cause he had to, bug bites got the best of him, I voted for him everytime, LOU! Congrats! I love you!!! I am officially a new fan of yours!
Absolutely thrilled that LDP won as I was rooting for him the entire time. Everyone was great except for that horrible Janice. I hope she watches the film and sees how she really looks and acts. The hosts could have been better people and some of the events could have been more exciting.
EW can you not ban these Vostuu posts? Anything that makes you take a “survey” to view stuff is suspicious and probably a danger to the people who fall for this stuff.
HAIL TO THE KING LOU’IE!!! I met Mr. Lou Diamond back in the mid 90’s and he is the sweetest, kindest and PRETTIEST celebrity I have ever met! Great guy! absolutely thrilled!
You people have WAY too much time on your hands watching this CRAP. This was a show of Hollywood has-beens who can’t get a REAL job. Enough with these pathetic reality shows !
Me and Lou go way back to the days of the mid 80’s doing blow off the tits of cheap hookers. God Damn we had some wild times. Glad to see he finally made something of himself by winning what is sure to be one of the most memorable reality shows ever, just behind the season of The Surreal Life with Balke from Perfect Strangers.
Happy that pappa Lou won. Actually enjoyed the show, you really got to know everyone. wish the best of luck to Patty & Rod. I also agree the host’s were not that great!!!
If you’ve ever been on a cruise ship, or some similar “strangers gathered for a common experience” situation, you know that everyone agrees that they will all stay in contact and be best buds for life.
But when you get back to the real world, you totally forget these people.
I have no doubt that except for pre-existing relationships, like Frangelina, the Baldwins and the Montags, none of these people will ever meet again, whatever intentions they may have had.
Me and Lou used to throw unconscious hookers out of moving cars along the Jersey Turnpike. It’s so awesome to see him win this show. I also love Balke from Perfect Strangers
I enjoyed most of the stars, seemed like they really cared about each other. Don’t know what NBC was thinking, making them do those disgusting challenges. I guess they survived, but I feel it was degrading. NBC needs to look at some CBS survivor challenges.
Terrible hosts, stupid gameplay and annoying celebrities. And yet, I kept watching and felt that John, Lou, Sanjaya, Torrie and Holly were all very endearing. Not nearly as bad as I was anticipating after the first week.
WTF, lou was on 24? LOL When was this? I totally forget!
I was pulling for Torrie. The former WWE Diva is still smoking hot.

One time Lou’s landlord threatened to throw him out for having a dog. Lou go so mad that he killed him and fed the remains to a pack of hungry wolves while backpacking through the Alps. Oh, also http://vostuu.com/watch28015.html
Dude, your memory ain’t too good. First of all, they were not unconscious. They wuz too drunk to drive. Secund, they wuz not hookerz they wuz debutaints. Thirdly, they wuz not throwns from moving cars in Jersay, they wuz genteely droped off at an A&P in Pokipsie.
I actually enjoyed the show. There was not much to watch on the other stations anyways, and thought I try it. It was so much fun to watch and was VERY funny. The Heidi and Spencer thing was so funny espcially when Spencer was baptized in the river by Steven Baldwin. I just hope he continues to be nice to people. Yes, Janice wasn’t very nice to others as well. She’s got some real problems, and hopefully she will someday work them out. I really enjoyed watching her to see what would happen next. It was awful seeing those rats chew on Lou’s finger when he had to stick his hand in the hole. I wish Stephen would have stayed with the show until the end. He’s a really funny guy.. love his comments. Any of the last 3 people standing were good enough to win. Fun show to watch.
Sorry bout that, I must have misremembered. I was on so much mescaline and coke at the time I must have mixed that up with the time me and Kiefer Sutherland threw hookers out of moving vehicles in Miami.
I started watching this show and then quit. I quickly found out why celebrities should never offer their opinion on things political. When they started swooning over that Scum Bag ExGovernor’s wife, it clearly shows that they pay attention to nothing but themselves. They treated her like a victim when she is just as much a scum bag as Blagovich himself.
When Lou and I were on the set of 24 we would regularly berate the stagehands until they broke down in tears. This one kid who thought he was gonna break into the business was so dejected he quit his job and moved back to Omaha. We tracked him down and chased him in an IROC-Z until he collapsed from exhaustion. Then we threw him into a cage with 12 hungry badgers.
When Lou was laying down vocal tracks for my album Young Guns II we used to get ripped out of our skulls and troll the city for some strange. One night after striking out at every bar in the city we decided to just kidnap children and sell them in Haiti, on the boat ride there Lou turned to me and said “Bon Jovi, one day I’m going to be somebody. One day I’m going to win a reality contest show and you’ll all see. Everyone will be sorry they messed with Lou Diamond Phillips.” I thought he was just drunk as hell but he was right. And now you’ll all pay.
