Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton (whose real name is Mario Lavandeira) filed a civil lawsuit Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court against Polo Molina, the road manager of the band Black Eyed Peas, according to Reuters. Hilton alleges that Molina punched him in the face on June 21 at a MuchMusic Video Awards afterparty in Toronto. According to Hilton, Molina was upset about the blogger's online criticism of the band's newest album. Hilton is seeking unspecified damages for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Toronto police have already charged Molina with assault.

Perez is such a whiner. Not that anyone should be assaulted, ever. I’m sure that the manager could’ve just walked away… but Perez does nothing but criticize and make-fun of people for a living. He makes fun of BEP calls them “f-gg-ts” and he is then surprised when there is an altercation? I’m happy that GLAAD is criticizing Perez and his use of that term. Gay or not, no one should use words like that. I’m sure Perez wouldn’t have liked it if anyone called him a “f-g”.

so what if Perez criticizes the BEPs on his site? They’re public figures and are fair game for anyone who wishes to criticize or ridicule them. Same goes for politicians who think that because they’re in politics, they’re above the law or above being criticized and/or ridiculed. Madonna has been called every single name in the book, been made fun of, etc.. but she doesn’t go around asking her people to physically assault anyone. Instead, she does what every celebrity should do, ignore anyone and everyone and just focus on their career. Besides, words, printed or not, are just that.. words. Physical violence is a whole other matter. PH is a scum bag and the lowest of the low but nothing he’s said on his site or on tv or anywhere else justifies being physically attacked.

Obviously I wouldn’t condone violence in this situation, but I have to say that I think Perez is milking this for all it’s worth. I bet he’s been waiting to be assualted by anyone so that he could try to make some money off of it. He’s a bully who provoked the situation, and I can’t say I wouldn’t have reacted the same way. Not that that’s the right thing to do, but he certainly wasn’t an innocent bystander in this situation.

In my opinion, this is what Perez has been waiting for all along. He has been “picking fights” and trying to push someone into this very situation. He is all about the money. He will say any salacious, horrible remark to instigate a “pay day”. He pushes or attacks the same target like a pitbull, refusing to let go of it’s target. He went after Bruce Willis’ daughter for months. It didn’t pay off. He waged a war of words with John Mayer. It didn’t pay off. He has tried this on dozens of targets since launching his website.This is the moment he has waited for. Someone finally took the bait and gave him “cause” for a lawsuit. A “pay day”. I have no doubt at all that this is the case. He is “the guy” who sets up a car accident so he can sue the other driver. He is a greedy, selfish person who spreads ugliness seeking a pay check for it. While I do NOT condone violence, let’s not pretend he is innocent in this. Seriously!
Perez has always set double standards: one for him and one for others. He can criticize and attack others but if someone’s against his ideas or stand up for themselves, he cried butthurt. Violence is never the answer but when voice your opinion or ideas, you risk your life.

I can’t believe this. Not in a million years, but as a dispensational Christian, I’m sticking up for Perez Hilton. The Black Eyed Peas make me ill, esp their stupid pro-Obama song “We are the Ones We’ve Been waiting for,” a quote that Obummer used in a speech, whose origin is in a Hopi pagan occult Indian prophecy about entering the 5th Golden Age, where the negatives disappear, clearly a rapture deception to deceive the masses when the rapture really takes true believers to heaven with Jesus.

Wow – what has the world come to. Violence should not be condoned in anyway. This manager was in the wrong and should be tried for his ignorance. Perez is only suing for 25,000 and he could have gone further and called it a hate crime – which he didn’t.

Even though he deserved a reality check, physical violence isn’t the answer. As messed as PH is, punching wasn’t justified. Dude needs to keep his mouth shut and I’m glad that GLAAD wants him to apolagize for his use of obscene language towards Will I Am.
He should be paid for the damages he suffered. Meaning if there were medical bills, then they should be paid.
But “emotional distress”? IS HE SERIOUS? He called someone a f@ggot. Put aside the irony, after the incident, he goes straight to Twitter. Not exactly the actions of a victim suffering from emotional distress.
