Jon and Kate Gosselin divorce: TLC denies reports that the couple has been living apart

Of all the things wrong with this show, of all the things that could affect those kids negatively, of all the things Jon and Kate have said that could cause damage to the kids (the countless times Kate called Mady’s behavior “ugly”, for instance), I find it very difficult to believe Jon saying he’s excited about the new chapter in his life is going to be of much consequence. This is clearly a situation where fanatic fans have latched on to one tiny thing Jon said so they can keep crucifying him right along with the media. Look at the big picture! You’ll see that, though Kate provides endless opportunities for the media to criticize her, the majority of people are inexplicably still choosing to concentrate on Jon. Both are to blame for the damage being done to those kids but it is my opinion that Kate’s abuse of Jon and the way she conducts herself in front of the kids will be far more damaging to them than Jon’s offhand “I’m excited” comment.

Hey, what I do NOT understand is those of you who say you WATCH the show, don’t like how they treat each other, how this hurts their children…STOP WATCHING THIS TRAIN WRECK! The ONLY way it will stop is if YOU stop watching and TLC pulls the plug due to poor ratings.
I’d personally watched the show since inception and STOPPED in the past couple of months, since all of this garbage began. Kate and Jon WON’T stop…if you really care about those kids, will YOU?

You people are truly distubed. Jon cheated, got caught & now the show is a trainwreck. Yes. But I cannot believe how many people would say such absolutely horrible things about Kate. you don’t know her, you don’t know her life & you have no idea of what has or has not happened. have you ever thought of the fact that maybe the stupid press made up the story about her cheating with (of course) her body guard because maybe he is the ONLY man they have ever been able to photograph her with other than her dirt bag, cheating jerk husband? Jon ruined this marriage on his own without any help from anyone else. She may be controlling & sometimes snap but how do you know what her life is like and how can you judge her? Maybe she snaps at her husband because he acts like a pouty 9th child who “feels like he missed out on a lot”? Well get to it Jon, there is much more drunken behavior to exhibit & many more willing sluts who’ll take their five minutes while your wife takes care of your kids.

I really didnt care for Kate until just recently; Jon cheated, he tossed marriage away. It affects 8 kids, 2 adults plus whoever Jon has brought into the mix. Kate may have faults but at least she didnt hang out in bars drinking. When Kate wasnt home she was on tour making $$. Jon who’s 32 & out getting both ears pierced, looking grung renting a $3200 mo apt in one of the Trump properties; No job, wonder how he plans to pay the rent? Plus he may have put the income that has been taking care of his children at risk. Dont think he makes the money necessary to pay mortgage on a 1.1 Million $$ home or groceries or any other expenses that are related to 8 children. Guess that is something else Kate will have to cover because can’t depend on Jon to step up and to be responsible for needs of children. He doesn’t even take care of expenses now, who is paying the $3200 rent on his one BR apt it sure isn’t Jon. And Jon is going to make sure he gets his share regardless if actually worked 4 it

I think that Kate treated Jon like a
child, yelling at him in the stores,
treating him like a kid, but he should
have said something then, but he let
it build up and build up. She stated
in one of the episodes that he wouldn’t even talk to her. Well can
you blame him? She was so disrepectful
I think Jon needed to tell her that
he is not a kid and stop treating him
like one. It’s a two-way street. Now
it’s a big MESS! I feel so sorry for
their kids because they love their
parents so much. We’ll if they’re going to re-new the show. It’s so sad.
