The Associated Press's report that Jon and Kate Gosselin have lived apart for two years is not true, according to TLC, the network that airs Jon & Kate Plus Eight. TLC denies the accusation, telling EW that the AP reporter misread the divorce papers. TMZ.com does a closer reading of the court documents here, explaining the confusion.

As if anyone should believe what someone from TLC says. They lie as much as Jon and Kate do.
Anything for money and ratings! That is the motto of TLC and Jon and Kate.
Its probably exactly how the papers read – separate and apart for two years. In PA, you must make that claim in order for the divorce to be immediately accepted into court. Otherwise you must wait 2 years from the first day of being apart. PA’s definition is loose, but two people can live in the same house, as long as they can provide proof that they lead separate lives. This also includes emotional and sexual separation so another words if a couple hasn’t engaged in intercourse in two years they can be deemed as living separate and apart. Just a note, Pennsylvania does not have legal separation.
While I hate the fact that parents of eight are getting divorced, it sickened me that Kate seems to blame it all on Jon. It appears that as long as Jon was her pawn she was happy as long as he was he whipping post verbally and physically. When he woke up and saw that he was not an equal in the relationship and needed it to change she dumps the fault on him. I also hated the fact that Kate keeps referring to the children as “my children”. Remember it takes two to make or break a marriage and it will take quite a toll on those 8 children for the rest of their lives. I believe they need to grow up , quit the show and raise those children out of the publics eyes.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all. Nearly all of this “reality” stuff is fake, scripted junk.
It cant be scripted Sam because you cant get little kids to do things at a certain time.
I think its safe to say that TLC is starting to get BIGTIME backlash over all of this. Personally I don’t watch this trainwreck but its pretty pathetic to think that these two are many big bucks off there 8 kids. I wonder how there sleeping at nights.

I got divorced in PA and I only had to wait 90 days for the cooling off period before the courts would grant me a divorce.

It breaks my heart to see this family split apart,their rumors over the last few months have been overwhelming,I saw the episode last night and I do not understand if there had been problems for the last several months,why did they not go into counseling? You only read the negative about people nothing positive. I read Kate’s book, Multiple Blessings,and I think she needs to read what she writes as she has strayed as far away from that book as possible,Doing it all for our kids is beginning to sound old,get out of the public eye and Focus on the kids!!!

So I guess Aunt Jodie and Uncle Kevin were telling the truth even if they wanted to get paid for it. I can’t believe they went thru with that let’s renew our vows fiasco when they were not happy together. But this is no surprise. Have you ever seen a tender moment or any affection shown between these two adults? I watch the show repeatedly because the kids were so adorable in their toddler years. The husband and wife are the foundation of a family; if they don’t have a good relationship then the kids can’t be happy.
