EW has learned that The Hills star Audrina Patridge's own reality series, tentatively titled The Audrina Show, is in development at MTV. News of Patridge's solo project, produced by Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice) and set to focus on her personal and professional life, first surfaced in March. Patridge's final episodes of The Hills will begin airing in the fall and will also feature former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari.

The Hills is not going to last without Lauren and now Audrina. They are the two main good girls. Heidi is a stuck up b***h and is soo blinded by love. Kristen will be funt ow atch but wont be the same. Lauren and Audrina need to be on the hills for it to survive….well i guess the two were smart to get out of there before sharing another scene with spencer and heidi.
I don’t understand. If it’s common knowledge that these “reality” shows follow a script and are heavily edited, then why not watch a better-written show that doesn’t attempt to hide it’s scripted nature? Why would I ever care about Audrina Patridge?
Here is the problem, MTV is having trouble finding another hit show. They have always been at the forefront of pop culture shows. Real World, The Osbournes, Newlyweds, and the Hills were all major pop culture shows. Thats why they instead of doing the logical thing and ending the Hills when Lauren left, they are trying to squeeze another season by using Kristin. Lets be real, none of those sidekick girls will be that good on their own. You’d think they would have learned that from The City. As good as Whitney was as a sidekick, she isn’t that interesting, and neither is Audrina. MTV needs to find something new, not keep trying the same things.

Ahhh…another show about another mindless and fame-whoring twentysomething. Seriously, Lauren was smart to get out when she did, The Audrina Show, really MTV, really? This girl can barely enunciate a grammatically correct sentence let alone lead a whole show! It would be a miracle if any of these girls don’t say “like” every other word.
Admitting (with some guilt) that I have a huge crush on Audrina…seriously Burnett? Do you really think this has the same pedigree as Survivor, etc.? Really surprised he’s EPing this.

They need to go in a new direction once it’s a spin off of a spin off of a spin off. I tried watching a few minutes of The Hills this season and it was the most painful thing I’ve ever seen. There is no way this show will work.
