Josie Bissett, who played Jane Andrews Mancini from 1992 to 1999 on the original Melrose Place, will reprise her role with a guest-starring appearance this fall on The CW's reboot of the classic soap, according to People. Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro, who respectively played Jane's scheming sister Sydney and scheming husband Michael, previously signed on as part of the new cast. (EW's own Michael Ausiello reported last month a MAJOR plot spoiler involving Leighton's character; click here to read it!)

When you use respectively in a sentence (preferrably that it is spelled correctly), you must refer to the subjects in order. In your sentence, you are referring to Thomas Calabro as her sister Sydny and Laura Leighton as her husband Michael. That should be reversed obviously.
Thanks for the catch, Kevin! All fixed.
Awesome. Great to know there are some educated people out there paying attention.

I must say Calabro looks great. He doesn’t look any older than when the show ended a decade ago.

I hope this show won’t be a watered down version of the original ala 90210 and will give more airtime to the original cast. I’m excited to see Josie back on Melrose – don’t screw it up, CW!
wow there sure are a lot of rude people on these boards who feel powerful behind their keyboards but quiet being so rude. He doesn’t need his spelling correctly. This is an Entertainment magazine, be entertained and shut up.
This tralier to the new Melrose is sleek indeed and I like the two older cast members, but will it have the same problems as 90120 which is a bland new generation of actors.

I very, very much expected this to happen. It would only make sense that Jane would come back to somehow take part in either Sydney being brought back or ultimately killed.
