My God I can’t wait to see the Audition time next week, I am sure there’s a lot of crazy auditioners and ones which means the judges will enjoy those poor applicants which came from different places,ops!

It wasn’t Boston, it was a crappy city call Foxboro. I went with my daughter who was told that she was too theatrical. We drove 4 and 1/2 hours for that. The only consolation was going to Boston the next day. Loved it there and want to go back.

We wont know the judges til a week from today. The people who make it past the cattle call (which is usually about 250 people) don’t see the judges until a week after the first audition. During this time the producers figure out who they’re going to embarrass and who will have a “great” story to tell so that they can follow them around and feature them throughout the show (think Danny Gokey).

Marry & Adam: we won’t know what judges are back until a week from today. Judging from past seasons, first there’s a cattle call over the weekend (in this case 7,000 people) then thats taken down to about 250 people who have to come back to sing for the judges which takes place about a week after the cattle call. Only then will we know who is still judging.

I was there, and it was amazing! The rain was annoying, but it forced people to get to know one antoher a bit better, as the sharing of umbrellas was a neccesity! So fun. Even though I didnt make it, it was still an great experience. If you dont like the show I still reccomend participating if you can, as it is truly an amazing experience!
