Let’s hope he will be true to his sexuality and himself in his music and videos etc, I won’t respect him if he tries to hide his sexuality. The fact he has chosen Lady Gaga’s producer doesn’t inspire confidence. That wench makes out she is so pro gay but when was the last time she featured any man on man stuff in her vids? She’s about as inclusive as Jan Moir.

All of the comments relating to people choosing music because of anything related to the sexuality of the performer is ridiculous. Music is either good music or bad music. As long as the performer doesn’t get too controversial with their lyrics a huge majority will consider it. The homophobic people never were on Adam’s fan list. I never thought anything about Queen having a gay singer even though I knew Freddie Mercury was gay because all I cared about was the quality of their music. I never thought anything about REM having a bisexual singer because all I cared about was the quality of their music.

ILYAIMY stands for “I Love you and I miss You”. Really good duo, good energy. Have a little trouble understanding Heather’s lyrics but that’s something I’ve always had trouble with – except Adam, who has incredible diction that comes from his theater background – and certain opera singers (Gerald Finley, Canadian baritone, in John Adams’ “Doctor Atomic” sings an aria at the end of Act I “Batter My Heart 3-Person’d God” that is absolutely astounding and his English is 100% understandable). I would definitely like to see more of Oregon than I saw on my trip in 2002. I may not have mentioned this but my uncle who is an entomologist actually spent a year at Oregon State (would have been in the early 1970’s I think) but I guess it rained too much for his taste so he went back to Oklahoma State & finished his bachelors there. Hope you have a good day out there where the weather is wonderful. We actually had an unusually great spring here in Charleston so I should not complain too much.

I am sorry about the humidity, maybe you should move to Oregon. Oregon is the number #1 meth makers in US; a lot of addictive people here. You would have no problem looking for jobs here. But anyway, I hope you enjoy your day at muddy water. I pictured you relax in the sun with the guitar playing.

I’m jealous. It’s 90+ degrees in Charleston & the humidity is pushing 100%. Of course, I’m not alone here at Muddy Waters – you’re here too. The music is very good – the first was a solo singer who played both keyboard & guitar – Matt Nakoa is his name I think – then a duo from Baltimore – the guy is a phenomenal guitarist. The name of the duo is ILYAIMY – not sure what that comes from, I probably missed something in the introduction.

Tonight I am going to a coffee house near where I work – they have acoustic music every Thursday night. I have never managed to get there & tonight I am determined to check it out. And I will think of you while I drink a decaf latte (I’m not totally decaf but I try to stop by 5PM).
