yeah, it’s gonna be great!
hell to the yes!!!!! this hopefully means his first single has HIT writtten all over it!
This is GREAT news! Finally something about the music…though I have to admit I didn’t mind the Rolling Sonte cover at all, haha. So I’m guessing a male Lady Gaga with a Queen inspired sound? Sounds promising!!!

GOD I LOVE THIS MAN!!!!!!! I HOPE HE WILL BE MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN KRIS SO HE CAN PROVE TO THE WORLD THAT HE IS THE AMERICAN IDOL- GOD KNOWS HE DESERVED IT. HE SHOULD HAVE WON FROM THE MAD WORLD PERFORMANCE ALONE.

I love him.
I am a fan of Lady GaGa so I am definently looking forward to this CD.
YAY!
Can’t wait for this CD!
*continues to gush like a 12 year old*
RedOne said this to the LA Times: “I want to go rock — David Bowie and Queen, but make it more easy for people to get,” the producer said of his vision for Lambert. “It has to be rock, but with an interesting dance angle to it, you know? You’ll like it.”
I’m excited. Loving his choices – Queen-inspired, Lady GaGa-esque, modern album and Muse for tour…
One word. FLOP. He won’t be this big huge “superstar” like you people think. He lost a lot of fans with the “big” gay coming out party he had with Rolling Stone, he lost even more fans when he admits that he DOES drugs (and I said DOES, not DID). No straight guys would EVER be caught dead listening to his music, all the “cougars” (gag me) lost interest when he revealed he is completely gay, and the a lot of the people who were left lost complete respect for this tool when he admits to being a drug abuser. He’ll crash and burn faster than you can say “hot tranny mess”. Two years from now he’ll be 275 pounds and in rehab. Guaranteed.
SueAnne, sorry but I’m straight as an arrow and know other straight guys who think that Adam rocks. Also know quite a few cougars who are not deterred by his coming out.
Don’t think his coming out was a big shock to anyone except maybe you. As for the drugs while that is a concern I haven’t seen anything from this young man that indicates he doesn’t have a good head on his shoulders.
Sorry for the rant but I just don’t care for people speaking for straight guys and older women who like Adam’s music.
I believe that 1 or 2 Adam fans in this world were surprised by his coming out on the RS, believe me, if anything, he gained respect.
I’m really looking forward to his album, I couldn’t care less about the genre, his voice really suits every type of music.
Ha. I thought he was a rocker? Lady GaGa is SO RAWK. Right. Even though SueAnn is a homophobic cougar who is pissed Adam won’t screw her, she’s right that he won’t be big. And will be a reality tv skank rather than legit musical artist.
If you want real rock from a gay man listen to Queen. If you want real dance music from gay men, listen to the Pet Shop Boys. Adam Lambert is at the bottom of the rung talent wise.
I wish he would quit using Muse like it’s so trendy and gives him “cred.” They are amazing, and didn’t need some reality show to hit it big.
And I totally called it months ago that he would try to be the next Lady GaGa, not Queen. FAIL.
Let’s hope he will be true to his sexuality and himself in his music and videos etc, I won’t respect him if he tries to hide his sexuality. The fact he has chosen Lady Gaga’s producer doesn’t inspire confidence. That wench makes out she is so pro gay but when was the last time she featured any man on man stuff in her vids? She’s about as inclusive as Jan Moir.

Ha. LMAO. I thought he was a rocker? Lady GaGa is SO RAWK. Right. Even though SueAnn is a homophobic cougar who is just upset that Adam won’t do her, she’s right that he won’t be big. And will be a reality tv skank rather than legit musical artist.

Sue Ann, where have you been?? Obviously under a rock or off the planet!!Everyone is wild about ADAM..This hugely talented man is the greatest thing to ever hit AI…We all know he is destined to become the greatest mega star since Elvis…
Go ADAM!!
Now THIS is NEWS, EW! I am so excited for him. Lady Gaga’s producer and the same label as Kings Of Leon- Adam is in VERY good hands!
To L: Pet Shop Boys and Queen? Really? LMAO! While you were under your rock, this new thing called the MILLENIUM happened. Why so bitter? You wouldn’t happen to be BECCA, the troll that was on here yesterday, would you? I suppose you think Rock is Nickelback and David Cook.
The rant that goes on here is so hilarious. I am dissapointed that he does drugs and I just hope he would quit. He is just smoking pot for now, okay. Read over your RS again. I am happy to see that other people are disagreeing with drugs. There is a war on drugs going right now. My admiration for Adam went down a little, but I still love listening to him sing.
This is exciting, can’t wait to buy his CD.
I really think that this is a mistake. Lady Gaga’s fifteen minutes are about up and if all Adam wants to do is overproduced electronic music he won’t be around long. Some Idol contestants (Taylor, Reuben) are entertaining on the show but fail to find a real place in music. That may well be what Adam is headed for–we will see. I don’t think that the Rolling Stone interview did anything for his career and it is not because he “came out.” The rest of the interview was more for attention than anything else and seemed rather insincere.
I am an addiction psychiatrist who is not particularly alarmed by Adam’s drug use most of which appears to be in the past.in case you haven’t heard we lost the “war on drugs” quite a while ago. He smokes a little pot; my main problem with that is the
effect on his incredible, amazing voice. Regarding his future as a recording artist I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it’s not only dead wrong but also mean. Adam lambert’s talent is unique, immense & incredibly diverse. Bottom rung? You’ve got to be deaf & blind. Fortunately you’re a minority.
I have no doubt that his excellent voice is due to some of the pot. Do you notice that people who smokes pot all has a raspy voice? And it’s never too late to win the war on drugs.
I disagree – the “war on drugs” is useless. Drugs are here. We could do a lot more good by focusing on the really damaging ones – methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine. And nicotine and alcohol, which are legal. I also disagree that Adam’s voice has anything to do with his pot use. He is absolutely not “raspy”. Besides being an addiction psychiatrist, I’m also a singer – weekly lessons for 7 years with someone who is arguably the best teacher in South Carolina & maybe in the entire Southeast. Who also absolutely admires Adam. This society’s black & white view of drug use – “just say no” “it’s bad/evil/morally repugnant” “use your willpower” does not serve anyone. Finally, instead of focusing on Adam’s past, we should focus on his future.
And while I’m at it – Sue Ann, can I borrow your crystal ball? Sure would come in handy with some of my patients.
His voice is raspy when he speaks but not when he sings. Hey, common on we both love Adam. My favorite Adam song is “A Change Is Coming” and “Feeling Good”. What is yours, JRZGRL1?
That will be hot with Adam Lambert having RedOne producing some songs for his album! Maybe he’s going for a few dance numbers to clash with the Queen inspired rockers on the album. I love RedOne’s beat-heavy and charged up songs for Lady GaGa,Kat Deluna, Sean Kingston’s current hit Fire Burning and even the 6 slamming numbers on New Kids On The Block’s album of last year! I hope his songs for Adam are just as hot!
Sorry, Cool – I guess Adam brings out a maternal streak in me that I didn’t know I had – I do spend a lot of time defending him. And he really doesn’t need me to do that. I haven’t heard the raspiness in his speaking voice – probably should go back & listen to some of the interviews again. Which song is my favorite? Wow, good question, and a hard one time – among the videos, I really like “Black & White” – I think it’s a brilliant performance – also love “Cryin’” “A Change is Gonna Come” “One” “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” (again, in my opinion, an amazing fresh interpretation of an old standard), and the infamous “Ring of Fire” (the courage that it took to perform that at an early stage of the competition when it easily could have ended his experience astounds me). On the audio side, “Feeling Good” is wonderful. I also like “One”. Oh, “Tracks of My Tears” is good in both video and audio. And I like his audio verison of “Born to Be Wild”. Thanks.
