Miley Cyrus is either taking one for the team by agreeing to a fourth season of Hannah Montana or not-so-humbly fulfilling the terms of her multi-year deal with Disney Channel. The singer's father, Billy Ray, told Access Hollywood that he gives "a lot of credit to Miley for taking it another year. She didn't want it to just end with whatever was the last episode we did. She wanted it to build to where there's a moral to the story, to where it doesn’t just end and go away and that’s it. She wanted there to be an official ending to Hannah Montana."
But the singer-actress also had a contract to fulfill; a Disney source told EW that the network already had an option on Cyrus, 16, for a fourth season and simply decided to exercise it.

No she wanted to keep going just to keep the easy $ coming. So funny she states that the last season was the last and now she is pushing season 4. She just doesn’t want the money to end and to be discovered as someone who can’t really act.

she cant act or sing, so of course she is going to stay with HM because it only takes minimal acting/singing talent. she will be done with when hm is over cause she has no real talent. she is not even cute. when the kiddos grow up, she will be toast.
It’s amazing to me that she would hesitate at all to sign up for additional seasons. Fame is fleeting and it would be in the best interest of the marginally talented Miley to milk her silly show for as many years as she can. YAY!!! im so excited there is going to be a 4th season of hm!!! i just hope that this is what miley cyrus truly wants, because it is certainly what the fans want. i think she is doing good things with her career, both bringing in bold new roles, like the last song, and sticking to her roots that made her so successful in the first place. i hope that they get some really good script writers in for the fourth season! and i hope that the cast deals with some more mature, serious issues. after all they are going to be 17-18 years old by the end of it. miley is talented, and she isnt staying with hannah montana becuase its her only option with her career, or her only option to make money. as if she really cares that much about the money part. im really excited, i just hope that the fourth season is a step up, not a step down. hannah montana deserves to go out with a lot of dignity.
she has a lot of money, but her dad, where he is going to work ??? I know he controls miley’s money, but if she stop working, she’ll be the one who will spent her money, not him. She picked another season because of her dad. They get home and he talked to her, we all know that hannah movie was supposed to be the last chapter.

Hey stupid, Billy Ray has millions in the bank…he’s been selling albums and touring for a couple decades, and he had one of the hugest hits ever with Achy Breaky Heart. And Miley has more money than she can ever spend, too.

I saw Miley singing on some show (maybe AI) and she has the most annoying sound to her voice. A twangy sound. Going forward she’s going to need all the help and all the exposure she can get, because she’s a plain looking girl, although she has a lot of spunk and great dance moves; but otherwise, she’s “average” sounding.

i love the way people tear others down, i give credit to the child, she followed her fathers footsteps and not only did she but she passed him in records sales.
Neither of really need the money lets get real, they actually want to end things in a proper manner, give her credit, most of you would be happy if your kids had a quarter of the talent she has.
