According to Variety Diane Lane will play the owner of the racehorse Secretariat in a film named after the Triple Crown winner and directed by Randall Wallace.

I hope this turns out better than “Seabiscuit” from a few years ago, where they left huge amounts of the story completely out of the film, lessening its impact.
