Rosie O'Donnell is attached to star in a revival of the 1937 Rodgers and Hart musical Babes in Arms, Variety reports. Producers hope to secure financing this summer for a Broadway revival of the show, which would mark O'Donnell's first time on the Great White Way since her run in Fiddler on the Roof in 2005. Randy Skinner, a Tony-nominated choreographer, is lined up to direct and choreograph the show, which has a newly updated book by Joe Di Pietro (Memphis). Like the original show, the new production would follow a veteran theater person (O'Donnell) who helps a group of kids put on a show to keep them from being sent to a workfarm.

Wow, awesome! It’s actually perfect for her, considering all the things she does for kids in real life. Yay.
Is this why she is not going on the R Family Cruise this year? Just wondering. Not able to get an answer from the cruise line on this.
