Carrie Prejean fires back after losing Miss California crown

In an interview with TMZ, deposed Miss California Carrie Prejean said that she was "shocked" at the news she had been stripped of her crown and fired back at pageant owner Donald Trump and the pageant producers. Prejean, who was fired by Trump for failing to get clearance for extracurricular activities, claims in response that pageant head Keith Lewis actually encouraged her to pose for Playboy magazine and appear in the reality series "I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!" Prejean, who sparked controversy with comments she made against gay marriage, insists the real motivation behind her firing was political: "What's behind this, I think, is a political debate. They don't agree with the stance that I took [on California's Proposition 8]…. From day one they wanted me out, and they got what they wanted."

Uh, I doubt THEY wanted her to do Playboy.
Now that they’ve taken her crown away, let see if they let her keep the boobs they bought her.

I hope they don’t have her pose in Playboy – I certainly don’t want to see her. Although, truth be told I am letting my subscription go – sorry, but that cover with Heidi smeared in (what looked like) p** was enough for me.

Miss America pageant is bogus if Miss America cannot say what she feels whether it is right or wrong.

    • Jennifer

She can absolutely say what she feels is right. We on the other hand can respond to her with what we feel is right. And the pageant can implement thier regulations as they feel is right.
Just becasue you have the right to free speech does not a) you should talk out your ass every chance you get or b) absolve you from other opinions of you or the consequences of that free speech you exercised.

Who is advising this twit? Ms. Prejean, your 15 minutes of fame are up. And that was about 15 minutes too long.

  • Tony

Oh, Carrie, you’re still talking? Plans to pose for a memorial statue of Anita Bryant fall thru? Seriously, your problems are of your own making, from the bigotry to the nudity. We don’t need you anymore. Kthxbye.

LOL…. Just love to watch these people use one another to get wat they want…a model wants breast implants…. a model exploited by Trump enterprises. They get their name on the news.. lets see… lawyers will be next…. they gotta get their money too… next comes the lawsuits… settlements…. nondisclosure agreements and wow… maybe someone will care about MISS AMERICA AGAIN… total failure

yes, the Miss America Pageant IS Bogus. I do not want her representing America.

  • JC

    She is a true idiot.

  • Shay

#1 – Its Miss USA twit, as in girls not good enough to be Miss America
#2 – This has nothing to do with what she said, but how she was constantly braking her contract as Miss California.
Can she go away now? I am sure even Jesus is sick of her crap.

Nice Girl Model Openings: Shoes, gloves, hairspray. (Are they really so pure) It seems modeling is a tough field as is. Killed by personal views?? Gimme a break! Good luck Carrie…..

  • Madison

Why is this jibberish even being covered? goodness gracious pageants are so out! and she said what she wanted, cried,,,etc…etc.. so quiet and go away.

  • Lele

Sam Boanga: This stupid mess is NOT connected to the Miss America pageant. It’s the State level of the Miss World pageant, owned by Trump. Pageants in general suck, but Miss World more than most.

  • badcompany

well, now she can move onto better things, like republican vice-president candidate…

  • Ace

She was allowed to say anything she wanted. She had the chance to lie about her thoughts the same way she lied about her own body. You lost, baby, so get used to disappointment.

  • Steff

Free Speech is only acceptable if it is what people want to hear at the time. For Ms. Prejean her honesty led her to paying the price with her crown. But come on people REALLY does it need this much publicity, do that many people REALLY care?
