Jessica Alba sorry for shark-poster plastering: 'I should have used better judgment.'

Jessica Alba, who reportedly plastered photos throughout Oklahoma City, Okla. last week as part of a campaign to save white sharks, issued an apology today. “I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign," Alba said in a statement released to EW.com "I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident.”

According to published reports, Alba helped to hang posters as part of an underground effort to draw attention to the white sharks' dwindling population. The campaign originated in Los Angeles.

Would she have apologized if she didn’t cover the United Way billboard? It’s ok to be concerned about a cause. With her celebrity, she could bring the cause to life in many ways. Defacing public property isn’t one of those ways. Think before you act. Now the cause is getting publicity for the wrong reasons.

Why is she apologizing? This is the first interesting thing to happen in that hellhole since the last F5 tornado, and the locals are just milking it for all the attention they can get.

Hey Brenda.. You’re an idiot! Calling an F5 Tornado that killed alot of people and made people homeless isn’t what one would call exciting..use your brain! Next thing you’ll be saying is 911 was all about publicity as well.. I bet you think the second plane was for more media coverage! Shut your mouth. Defacing property isn’t okay no matter where you are at or who you are! If it’s so ok.. why don’t you email them and tell em to put posters all over your windows and doors, cause no one should have to look at someone so inconsiderate as you. Have a great day!
