Didn’t he just say not too long ago the reason he & Sheryl Crow broke off their engagement was her baby clock was too LOUD? Seems to me he’s a bit hypocritical or LOUD about his own baby clock. He had 3 kids, she had none and was pushing 40, nice knife in her back.

Crazy thing is, this can’t have been an accidental pregnancy. He’s sterile. This girlfriend would have had to go through hell to get pregnant, in vitro. His ex-wife did an awesome blog while they were married chronicling all she did to get pregnant. I’m not a prude, but why would she go through all that without being married.

Can’t stand him. Too full of himself.

Uh, if you had been listening to the news, you would know that the doctors have said sometimes a man sterility goes away when his cancer has been 100% gone for years. Lance didn’t know he could have children the natural until it happened. He didn’t want children with Sheryl then but that has been over 3 years ago. Geez, let this new baby boy’s parents have a try at happiness for his sake and theirs!

I suspect the real reason Lance didn’t want any children with Cheryl Crow was because she has an ugly face and he didn’t want any further obligations to her. Let’s face it, 40 is too old for a woman to have a baby anyway. It’s selfish considering the baby will be many times more likely to suffer from learning disabilities.

Mark Penny, you ignorant fool. My mom was 40 and I just graduated from a top university. Keep your misogyny off this website.
Also, Lance isn’t that great looking.

Actually, Lance Armstrong is not sterile. Everyone including himself thought he was because of the chemo which was why he had some sperm frozen. This was the sperm that was used to help impregnate his first wife and resulted in their 3 children. His current son was a very blessed “Ooops”, and give hope to people who have gone through similar things like Lance that they may not be sterile. I am a Cheryl Crow fan, but whatever caused their break-up is none of my business. Congratulations to Lance, and I am sure his new son is beautiful.. :)

Christine, a baby born to a 40-year-old woman has a 1/100 chance of being diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome, compared with a 1/1100 chance for a woman aged 25-29. Also, “misogyny” would be a hatred or mistrust of women in general where as I only mentioned one woman specifically. Do your research you ignorant fool :) You made this too easy.

Mark, you’re an agorant idiot. First of all, I believe the ladies comment was that LANCE recently stated that’s why they broke up 3 years ago-Sheryl (with an S) Crow was in her late 30’s WELL AWARE of risks of having a baby after 35. She wanted a child of her own desperately-and one would hope that if you get engaged to someone, you discuss it.
Lance broke off the engagement, she went on to adopt. That would have been a nice end to it, but within the last year he is qouted as saying they broke up because her baby clock was too loud-an interesting turn for him then if indeed this child came to be naturally. While each child is a blessing and adoption is a fantastic gift any woman/man/couple can give a child, one should not slam a person in public like that because they had a responsible desire to parent before they were older.
Parenting after 40 has risks, but every pregnancy has risk, as a DR, I find you incredibly self absorbed. Did you earn a PHD or do you get your info googling?

  • Mark

“Dr.” Grey, Are you a Cheryl Crow fan?
Yes, obviously I got my info googling. That’s what the internet’s for. Why? is the info I provided wrong? No, it’s not. I’m just having fun bashing on old women and babies. By the way, did you mean to call me “arrogant”? You spelled it wrong. It’s not “agorant”. That’s not a word. That’s embarrassing:) I win.

  • InThePinkMom

Here’s a word to google: Narcissism! Definately. Maybe this Mark is Lance himself…your right Mark, you win LOL! The prize is yourself.

It’s highly doubtful that there’s a more self-absorbed human on the planet. There’s just something very undesireable, and not at all likeable about this character.
