Robert Knepper, who played the villain Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell on Prison Break, has been cast as the new bad guy on Heroes for next season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The actor will appear in at least six episodes of the series' fourth season as Samuel, a charismatic but evil man with a twisted sense of humor, who will veer into the lives of all the heroes. Knepper also recently appeared in Transporter 3 and The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Brilliant! He was sooo evil on PB, he should fit right in on Heroes. What’s his power, snake-tongue?
Brilliant! Looking forward to this! My only hope is that he is totally clean shaven and he uses his normal accent. if he were to be a southerner it would throw me. In ‘Day The Earth Stood Still’ he had the mustache that T-Bag sported for a while in early season 4 and used a southern accent, so I was like “It’s T-Bag leading the military”. There was no difference.

Love. This.
Love. This.
TBag certainly chewed up the scenery in so many PB episodes – however, his licking-the-lips acting method was overdone and tiresome. He’s talented but needs to move on to a new bag of tricks.
“charismatic but evil man with a twisted sense of humor”? Sounds like they’re trying to make a Heroes-verse version of The Joker archetype.
Knepper is easily the best actor on Prison Break, next to William Fitchner, so I’m thrilled to see his appearance on Heroes. Maybe he’ll give the show the kick in the pants it sorely needs for next season.
I’m only slightly worried on what Chzz mentioned. Knepper’s ‘T-Bag’ act did get tiresome by season 4, though I blame it more on the writers than the actor. They made him into an absolute caricature of his vicious season 1 & 2 self by the end of the show. The Heroes’s writers without Bryan Fuller are even more inept. I just hope they do Knepper justice and not waste his talents.
If he can hold his tongue at bay, this could be interesting.
sweet
I am VERY excited to see Knepper on Heroes! Prison Break has been my favorite show on television the last few years, and I’m a bit sad that it’s come to an end. Knepper, who plays T-Bag, and Fichtner, who plays Alexander Mahone, are the best actors in Prison Break, and I’m happy that one of them will already have a role come this fall. Hoping for the best for Fichtner as well!

Yeah Vic, Fichtner’s got his own pilot debuting soon on TNT. Look up info on “Night and Day”.
He is a hoot! A wonderful charming villain. Best actor on Prison Break. Will follow him where he goes…
only six episodes! thats not much he should be in more than one season at least!!!!
