In Hong Kong to promote her new album, Clarkson told AP that she thought Boyle performance of Les Miserables’ “I Dreamed a Dream” on Britain’s Got Talent was beautiful. “I think it’s awesome,” said Clarkson. “I’m bawling whenever I hear her sing."

'American Idol' vote may have been flawed
The New York Times reports that AT&T may have influenced the outcome of American Idol by providing free text-messaging services at parties organized by fans of Kris Allen, who won the competition last week. Representatives of AT&T, a corporate sponsor of the show, reportedly taught Allen fans how to "power text" at the parties, allowing them to send multiple messages with a push of a button. Questions remain as to whether power texting violates American Idol voting rules.

'Grand Theft Auto IV' gets its newest version: 'The Ballad of Gay Tony'
Rockstar Games announced today that the second XBox 360 "episode" of its blockbuster videogame Grand Theft Auto IV will have the eyebrow-raising title "The Ballad of Gay Tony." The vignette, available this fall, will allow players to control "part time hoodlum" Luis Lopez as he works as an assistant for "legendary nightclub impresario" Tony Prince, who is also apparently known as "Gay Tony." It is unclear whether that means the character is homosexual. XBox 360 players will be able to download the episode using XBox Live for $19.99 or purchase it as a DVD disc that will also contain the first GTA IV episode, "The Lost and the Damned," for $39.99.
