Robert Pattinson, Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz join Madeleine Stowe's directorial debut

Categories: Movie Biz

Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson will star in the 19th-century drama Unbound Captives, and Madeleine Stowe will make her directorial debut from a script she cowrote more than 15 years ago, according to Variety.

Stowe originally wrote the script in the early 1990s with her husband Brian Benben (Dream On), but she turned down a multimillion dollar offer from Fox when they wouldn’t promise her anything more than a writing credit. Now, she’ll direct.

Weisz will play the role Stowe once envisioned for herself, a frontier woman whose husband is killed and whose two children are kidnapped. Pattinson will play her son, and Jackman will play the man who comes to her rescue.

Which I wasn’t aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem." Porizkova will make her last appearance as an ANTM judge on tonight’s finale.
