Steven Spielberg’s much-anticipated The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn will be released in the U.S. on Dec. 23, 2011, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 3-D motion-capture feature stars Jamie Bell as intrepid young reporter Tintin, and the rest of the cast is filled out by Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones, and Mackenzie Crook.

I remember the animated version being on Nickalodeon at like 6 in the morning. Even at a young age I loved the quirky characters. Can’t wait for Spielberg’s take.
