As much as I love hearing Boyle sing, she should have known she’d need a thick skin from the moment she stepped on the stage. By acting out, swearing like a sailor, she’s embarrassed not only herself, but her church and community. We all had hoped this sudden fame wouldn’t change her, but it looks like it has, and not for the better. Someone on this board suggested Boyle do background singing, or audio book-type things. I think that’s a good idea. Harsh spotlight is extremely difficult for the so-called “beautiful people” – so for an average Joe (or in this case, Sue) it’s a nightmare. Get out, Susan; get out while you still can, with your dignity and sanity intact. It’s just not worth it.

Susan Boyle didn’t win – a dance act called Diversity just won (very good they are too).
I hope Boyle wins and goes to vegas with Celine! http://cuteguysandgirls.com
