Reality show judge and former tabloid journalist Piers Morgan says that singing sensation Susan Boyle has been struggling to cope with the pressures of fame and was ready to walk off Britain’s Got Talent, according to Reuters. Morgan told Inside Edition that Boyle has "been in tears repeatedly…. And, as of yesterday, she waspacking her bags." However, she finally agreed to see the show through to the end.

I’m sorry to say if she can’t handle this pressure then she has no future as a professional singer. It would be sad for those who love her voice but better for her happiness if she went back to her former life.
This is sad news that she is so pressured she wants to quit. Quit her dream of making it big. I guess it’s the monster of the beast that is “fame”. Everyone wants to make it big… but the industry can eat you up.
I feel awful for Boyle. She’s very talented, but she has to stay strong.

It has nothing to do with the “music” industry and everything to do with the soul-sucking, privacy-invading “entertainment media” industry. Too bad those that want to tear her down have no discernable talent or gift worth sharing with the world.
We need to celebrate the truly gifted and ignore the hangers-on and phonies.

Beautiful voice, beautiful person, and what the world need now is more of the above. Keep on singing Ms. Boyle!
F the Media!!
Too much, too soon. I sure wish people knew how to not just badger the hell out of this woman. I too feel for her and think she was so confident with her first audition…it is such a shame it has come to this. I am still hoping she comes through with her very best for the world to see. Then go home and take a very long break from the world. I don’t think she was so into being a BIG STAR…she just wants to sing.
HER VOICE IS FROM HEAVEN,LET HER SING AND BE HAPPY.SHE IS A BLESSING TO THE WORLD,JOAN HORAN
If I had to listen to all nasty comments people made about her looks — over and over — I’d never want to show my face on TV again. I think she’s so brave to continue, and I think she looked beautiful in the semi-finals (she has a wonderful smile). She seems like a truly lovely person and I’m sorry she’s not enjoying her fame.
I’m so glad she didn’t run off. She’s truly an inspiration to many people, and has a voice which — with time — can match that of Streisand. She’s truly a gift.
She is a decent singer, but she isn’t amazing. They say is is difficult behind the scenes and curses a lot. So who cares if she “Walks off”. Whatever, go away already. Had she been pretty, people would be tearing her down for having a marginal voice. The kid will take it. Susan Boyle’s “sudden” rise to fame won’t fool many people much longer. It’s obvious her moment was staged from the beginning.
She is as ugly as a monkey’s ass and can carry a tune. People expect her to sound like Jabba the Hutt so her decent singing has a lot of impact.
What a bunch of shameless ghouls. Leave the woman alone for crissakes.
Like everything esle. The media found another way to ruin another person life.
Yeah the kid got talent. She should of had this hands down.
Some of the posters here don’t have a clue what constitutes a good voice. This is a lady with guts, raw talent, but who has had very limited coaching. She has pipes, and if she wants to sing professionally and is able to get some really good coaching, she has a career. The obstacle that most talented singers face is lack of “a break”…she has the break, now she needs to prepare herself at the next level.
BTW: who cares what she looks like? If she wants to follow her idol, Elaine Paige, to the West End, musical theater requires all sizes, shapes, colors and faces. Her biggest challenge: learning how to “move” on-stage. I don’t mean energetic or intricate choreography, but merely to move in character. Right now she’s a bit clunky. But she has the chops to sing!
Good luck Susan.
