After announcing their fall schedules, networks have begun re-tooling the casts of many of their new shows in preparation for filming. Louise Lombard, who played an investigator on NCIS last season, is leaving a lead role in CBS’ spin-off NCIS: Los Angeles, which stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J. The network is also replacing Julia Ormond in the organ transplant drama Rivers and re-tooling parts in Trauma and Good Wife. Other recast shows include the NBC comedy 100 Questions and ABC’s The Forgotten, which will replace its lead (played by British actor Rupert Penry-Jones in the pilot).
