Matt Smith is the new Doctor Who. Steven Moffatt is a writer and producer.
Interesting bit of news, but somebody didn’t do their research. MATT SMITH is replacing David Tenant as The Doctor, while Steven Moffat is actually replacing Russel T. Davies as the show runner.
You know, just because it’s a TV show from across the pond doesn’t excuse the poor research.
Tennent is being replaced by Matt Smith, Russell T. Davies is being replaced by Moffet. Thanks for the date it’s showing though.
mage?!, long suffering Whovian
How do you always get Dr Who information wrong? It’s super easy take 2 minutes to just Google it. Even here in America. I’m disappointed EW.
Ha, what tardises
Since Sci-fi lost BSG, Stargate:Atlantis, and Dr Who, perhaps they should think about picking up Terminator:SCC. Oh right, they have the new Stargate:Universe and all sorts of variations of Ghost Hunters to fill their schedule. Oy.
Man, that’s as ignorant as saying that William Shatner will no longer play Captain Kirk and that the role will be taken over by Joss Weedon.
One other thing: The show is “Doctor Who”, not “Dr Who”. Without the full spelling, you can’t anagram it into “Torchwood”.
And here I was thinking, “I hope someone called them out on the Moffat-Smith mistake.”
Done and done apparently.
Either someone didn’t do their research properly OR someone didn’t proofread these briefs. Matt Smith is the new Doctor, Steven Moffat is the head writer and producer.
