The ex-girlfriend of Simon Cowell, Extra‘s Terri Seymour, requested a restraining order today against the woman who choked her last Tuesday after an American Idol taping, E! Online reports. Seymour filed a document in Los Angeles County Court, saying that she was "viciously assaulted" by Janice Thibodeaux and "fears that Thibodeaux will again assault and further harass" her. Seymour is asking the court to order Thibodeaux to stay at least 100 yards away from her and pay an estimated $10,000 in attorney fees. Thibodeaux, 33, was arrested following last week’s incident and faces charges of misdemeanor battery and assault. Her arraignment is June 4.
