Dustin Hoffman to help tell 'Barney's Version'

Dustin Hoffman will join Paul Giamatti in an indie adaptation of Mordecai Richler’s last novel, Barney’s Version. Varietyreports that Hoffman will play the father of Giamatti’s titlecharacter, who’s suspected in the disappearance of his best friend.Richard J. Lewis (CSI) will direct.
